Work and Energy(sclp science)

Title: Work and energy                           Date : 2018/11/15

0.     Objective

1)    Between Energy and Potential Energy

2)    What is Kinetic Energy

1.     Definition

1)     Energy : The ability of an object to do its work, as well as its ability to translate this
2)     Potential Energy : The energy that an object has when it is at a height. It is the energy stored because of the location or placement of the object
3)     Kinetic Energy : It is the energy of an object or particle that is moving. The kinetic energy at a given velocity of a given object is defined as the amount of work required to accelerate the object from its stop to its velocity

2.     Scientific definition

1)     Ability to work physically

2)     The energy of a highly located object in the region where gravity acts

3)     The energy of the moving object

3.     Solving Problems

W = F x s = mg x h

mg is this object’s weight and h is height of the object from the reference plane. S is object

Reference plane of position energy : When the reference plane is changed, the height of the object changes, so the value of the position energy changes according to the reference plane.

E = 1/2mv x v

When an object of mass m is moving at speed v, the kinetic energy of the object

4.     Scientific terms

1)     Energy

2)     Potential Energy

3)     Kinetic Energy

5.     Other Information

Relationship between work and kinetic energy
Work done by an object = 1)Later kinetic energy – 2)First kinetic energy
W = F x s = 1)1/2mv x v – 2)1/2mv x v
So What the object does is equal to the amount of kinetic energy.
